“The Pope’s Exorcist,” a horror and thriller film that will keep fans on the edge of their seats, will be in cinemas on May 5th. The film, starring Academy Award-winning actor Russell Crowe as Father Gabriel Amorth, who performed over 100,000 exorcisms in his lifetime, is inspired by the stories recounted in the books of the Italian Catholic priest.
Fans of the supernatural and horror films have eagerly anticipated “The Pope’s Exorcist,” which is preparing to meet cinema-goers. The film is inspired by the real notes of Father Gabriel Amorth, the Chief Exorcist of the Vatican, and tells the story of Amorth trying to exorcise a demon that has possessed a young child, while uncovering a centuries-old conspiracy that the Vatican has been trying to keep hidden.
Russell Crowe plays the role of Italian priest Amorth, who performed over 100,000 exorcisms in the film. He is joined by Daniel Zovatto, Alex Essoe, and Franco Nero, among others.
“The Pope’s Exorcist,” distributed in Turkey by TME Films, will be in cinemas on May 5th.
