When evil reaches pure malevolence and takes over the world, what price must goodness pay to attain its true power? Özlem Topaloğlu Özdemir explores this ancient battle from a completely new perspective in her novel Fīlius: God of Chaos. Spanning across the globe and focusing on the breaking points of female characters, the story delves into the darkest aspects of human nature while revealing how hope and faith can emerge from chaos.
With this new work in the field of occult fiction, Özdemir takes readers on a journey through 7 continents and 11 countries, sharing the inner struggles of diverse female characters. Fīlius: God of Chaos unveils the conflicts within human nature in a world ruled by darkness and chaos, demonstrating that faith, hope, and goodness may be our most powerful weapons.

Özlem Topaloğlu Özdemir: “This journey is just beginning.”
Speaking about her work, Özdemir says: “With my first book, I have now embraced a genre—occult fiction. I want to progress in this field and delve even deeper into it. I wrote a book that embraces cultural diversity and our differences. I depicted a world where we are forced to confront darkness and have no choice but to take action. My plan now is to write the sequel to this book and tell the story of how we navigate through chaos on our path from darkness to light. It will be a story that shows how new miracles can sprout just when we think everything is over.”
The author is also working on another project for the future: “I am designing a book about creating the perfect human and character. The novel will follow the same individual being born into different social and economic environments, taking on different roles repeatedly, and ultimately transforming into the ‘perfect human.’ Of course, the journey of writing is full of surprises; while aiming for one destination, the road may take you elsewhere. But for now, this is the direction of my journey.”
