During the visit, President Sezer met with children with special needs and association executives. Mayor Sezer, who is very interested in children, gave information to the managers of the association and families about the activities of Gölcük Municipality for disabled and special individuals.

Explaining the work done for individuals with special needs, Mayor of Gölcük Ali Yıldırım Sezer said, “For our autistic children; Since the prefabricated building on Sezai Karakoç Street in Değirmendere Topçular Mahallesi is insufficient for education, we have ensured that our students continue their education in a peaceful environment for 3 years after we completed the renovation of the building owned by Gölcük Municipality in Çiftlik Mahallesi.
SPECIAL EDUCATION PRACTICE SCHOOL CONSTRUCTION CONTINUES
Mayor Sezer said, “The construction of Gölcük Special Education Practice School continues at full speed on a 4 decare plot near the Değirmendere Gaipler Cemetery, which we transferred to the Finance Treasury with the unanimous decision of the Gölcük Municipality Council and allocated to the Ministry of National Education. For the future of our children; We will continue to work in dialogue with our Gölcük Autism Association.”
