The Metropolitan Municipality, which is preparing with all its units throughout the province before the Ramadan Feast, is continuing its work from transportation to health, cemeteries, and municipal inspections to ensure that citizens have a peaceful holiday during the Ramadan Feast.
Free Transportation During the Feast
MUTTAŞ public transportation vehicles (black plate) of Muğla Metropolitan Municipality will provide free transportation services during the Ramadan Feast, starting from Friday, April 21, 2023, at 00:00 (Thursday night), until Sunday, April 23, 2023, at 24:00. Health Teams with the Citizens During the Feast
Muğla Metropolitan Municipality is providing hair and beard shaving services for bedridden, sick, disabled, and needy citizens before the upcoming Ramadan Feast. The Metropolitan Municipality teams, who are with the citizens with home care, patient and disabled transportation services, continue to provide these services before the Ramadan Feast. During the Ramadan Feast, the Metropolitan Municipality will continue to provide home care and patient transport ambulance services to the citizens. Many health needs, such as all kinds of bandaging, injections, and medicine supply, will be provided by Metropolitan Municipality health personnel upon the request of the citizens during the holiday. In addition, urgent patients who need to go to the hospital will be picked up from their homes with the patient transport ambulance, taken for examination, and then returned to their homes.
Call center teams, who act as a bridge to quickly fulfill any problems or requests of the citizens, will continue to serve 24/7 during the holiday.
Cemeteries are Ready for the Feast
Muğla Metropolitan Municipality continues its cemetery cleaning and maintenance works in 13 districts before the Ramadan Feast. So far, cleaning and maintenance works have been carried out in 1400 cemetery areas.
Muğla Metropolitan Municipality, which has 1426 cemetery areas used in 569 neighborhoods of its 13 districts, is conducting cleaning, weed control, maintenance, and repair works in these cemeteries before the Ramadan Feast. The Metropolitan Municipality, whose personnel and 28 vehicles have completed maintenance, cleaning, and weed control works in 1400 cemetery areas, aims to provide citizens with a more peaceful and orderly environment during their visits in the Ramadan Feast.
MUSKI is at the Service of Citizens for 24 Hours
Mugla Water and Sewerage Administration (MUSKI) General Directorate teams will be on alert 24/7 with the on-duty teams it has established in all districts to prevent possible pipeline failures and water cuts during the holiday. In addition, necessary tank and pipeline maintenance was carried out so that citizens do not experience any water problems during the feast.
Municipal Police and Fire Department Teams on Duty
Before the Ramadan Feast, the Metropolitan Municipality has increased its inspections and is inspecting the production and sales locations of bakeries, pita bakeries, and pastry shops. Metropolitan Police teams are inspecting whether the workplaces and employees comply with the hygiene rules of cleanliness, the suitability of the production sites and equipment used, the expiration dates of the commodities used in production, and the weight of flour products. Municipal Police and Fire Department teams will be on duty during the Ramadan Feast for citizens to have a peaceful holiday.
