Beylikdüzü Municipality has completed all preparations in the district for citizens to have a peaceful Ramadan holiday. In addition to the cleaning works carried out in places of worship and cemeteries, holiday clothes were delivered to needy children.
Beylikdüzü Mayor Mehmet Murat Çalık, who celebrated the holiday with his colleagues on the last working day before the holiday, stated that “we have left behind the Ramadan month, which has a very high level of spirituality. I wish the Ramadan holiday brings peace and tranquility to our country.” Mayor Çalık also visited the cemeteries in the district and did not leave the graves without prayers.
Beylikdüzü Municipality, which has been working in the field with its teams for citizens to have a united and peaceful Ramadan holiday, has completed all preparations before the holiday. While the shrines and cemeteries were made ready for holiday visits by municipal teams, all places of worship in the district were also cleaned. In addition to all meticulously carried out maintenance and cleaning works, the Women and Family Services Directorate delivered holiday clothes to needy children living in the district. The municipality also provided self-care, hairdresser, and house cleaning support to elderly and special needs individuals.
Graves were not left without prayers
Beylikdüzü Mayor Mehmet Murat Çalık, who celebrated the holiday with his colleagues one by one in the garden of the municipal building on the last working day before the holiday, said, “We have left behind the Ramadan month, which has a very high level of spirituality. I wish the Ramadan holiday brings peace and tranquility to our country. May the Ramadan holiday be blessed for all my neighbors.” Mayor Çalık also visited the cemeteries in the district and did not leave the graves without prayers.
