TÜİK (Türkiye İstatistik Kurumu – Turkish Statistical Institute): The number of paid employees in the industrial, construction, and trade-service sectors combined increased by 6.5% in March 2023 compared to the same month of the previous year. The number of paid employees in the same month of the previous year was 13,862,333, while in March 2023, it reached 14,757,342.

When looking at the sub-details of paid employees, in March 2023, compared to the previous year, the number of paid employees increased by 3.4% in the industrial sector, 16.6% in the construction sector, and 6.6% in the trade-service sector.

The number of paid employees increased by 0.5% monthly.

In the industrial, construction, and trade-service sectors combined, the number of paid employees increased by 0.5% in March 2023 compared to the previous month.

When looking at the sub-details of paid employees, in March 2023, compared to the previous month, the number of paid employees increased by 0.2% in the industrial sector, 1.2% in the construction sector, and 0.6% in the trade-service sector.
