An exciting event is happening on the art scene in Istanbul. The renowned artist Işıl Dural and her son Dünya Dural’s exhibition titled “Asymmetric Dreams” met art enthusiasts on Saturday, October 14, 2023, at the Evolution Art Gallery. This magnificent exhibition is designed to explore the fine line between reality and fiction and provide visitors with a captivating experience.
In the “Asymmetric Dreams” exhibition, artists Işıl and Dünya Dural bring together different forms containing material similarities. At the opening of the exhibition, the artists expressed their thoughts, “Which is stranger, reality or fiction? We’ve been sharing the same studio for about seven years, going beyond mother and son, we are close friends, independent individuals, and studio companions in the production process. Our production continues with different understandings that support the saying ‘Every dream is a refuge.’”
Betül Ketenci, the founder of the Evolution Art Gallery, proudly mentioned that they were delighted to host this significant exhibition, saying, “We welcome all art enthusiasts who want to see the works that have also garnered great admiration from the audience at the Evolution Art Gallery.”
