An exciting period begins at Beşiktaş Gymnastics Club as Serdal Adalı officially announced his candidacy for the presidency in a press conference held on Sunday, November 12th. Adalı will stand before the Beşiktaş community at the Extraordinary Election General Assembly Meeting scheduled for November 26th.
A notable emphasis in Adalı’s speech regarding his candidacy came from the words of Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, the founding leader of Turkey. Adalı stated, “Atatürk’s unique insight has turned into a test for our Beşiktaş today. As Beşiktaş supporters, we must stand against internal and external enemies,” explaining the fundamental motivation behind his candidacy.
Highlighting his dedication to Beşiktaş, Adalı expressed, “I am one of those who have paid the heaviest price for this club. I could not be a bystander to this situation. The reason for my candidacy for the presidency of Beşiktaş is to say ‘Enough is enough.’”
Speaking about the future vision, Adalı emphasized, “Beşiktaş needs an innovative, competitive, and institutionalized management approach. With our professional team, we aim for sustainable success.” He added with confidence, “The owner of Beşiktaş is the Beşiktaş supporters. The main reason for my candidacy is that you will not hear the phrase ‘We inherited a wreckage’ from me.”
Addressing the fans, Adalı urged, “After bringing players like Guti, Quaresma, and Fernandes, we need to regain the superiority we had in the past. Beşiktaş, the people’s team, should be at the forefront in the streets.”
Making a call to Beşiktaş Congress members, Adalı said, “The future of Beşiktaş is in your hands. Please come and vote, reflect your will at the ballot box.” With Serdal Adalı’s candidacy, excitement rises within the Beşiktaş community, marking the beginning of an eagerly awaited election process for the club’s future.
