The cyber security ecosystem came together at the IDC Security Roadshow 2023, held on March 22 at Wyndham Grand Levent. In the sessions held within the scope of the event, many important names made evaluations about the innovations and developments in the ecosystem. Addressing the role of digital risk protection services in preventing threats in his speech, Brandefense CEO Hakan Uzun shared his views with the ecosystem.
Turkey’s and the world’s leading cyber security experts met at IDC Security Roadshow 2023. A wide range of topics were covered in the sessions at the event held at Wyndham Grand Levent with the motto “Preparing for a New Cyber Threat Era” on March 22 this year. Hakan Uzun, CEO of cyber security company Brandefense, which provides digital risk protection services, external attack surface management and threat intelligence solutions to corporate structures around the world, was among the speakers of IDC 2023, which hosted important names in the industry.
Increasing need for cyber security products
Hakan Uzun, who made a presentation at the session of “Digital Risk Protection Service and Cyber Security and It’s Time to Change Our Approach”, made an analysis of the current situation of the market and the threats faced in the sector. Expressing that institutions, like states, need intelligence and digital security products in order to produce both proactive and reactive solutions against cyber threats, Hakan Uzun pointed out that the difficulties and problems in the cyber field can be overcome with digital risk protection services.

However, the name underlined that more support should be given to domestic security products and that these technologies have the potential to open up to the global market.
