Çuhadaroğlu, one of Turkey’s first industrial enterprises and the only company in the world that designs, manufactures and assembles aluminum products, celebrated its 70th anniversary.
In the night organized at Istanbul Swissôtel Bosphorus, business world leaders from Turkey and the world, Çuhadaroğlu business partners, sector stakeholders, leading names of the press, Çuhadaroğlu management, and employees came together. The night was hosted by Okan Bayülgen and Erol Evgin and Nükhet Duru took the stage.
Starting with a small workshop of 5 people, we are proud to be one of the leading companies in the world.
Murat Çuhadaroğlu, Chairman of the Board of Çuhadaroğlu, made the opening speech of the evening,
“Ahmet Çuhadaroğlu, my late father and the founder of our companies, started this journey with a small office and then a primitive workshop. In an environment where it was really difficult to be an industrialist, he prioritized bringing firsts to the sector. The first powder-coated aluminum joinery in Turkey, the first biaxial windows, the first silicon facade, the first vertical anodizing facility, the first aluminum facade test center, the first domestic automatic doors, etc. Today, we have become able to design and produce all kinds of architectural aluminum products from raw aluminum to finished aluminum. Çuhadaroğlu, which started 70 years ago with 5 people, has become one of the few integrated facilities in the world with approximately 700 employees, 70 thousand m2 closed office and factory areas.”
Nejat Çuhadaroğlu, Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of Çuhadaroğlu, talked about the past achievements and future goals of Çuhadaroğlu, which celebrated its 70th anniversary. “It means a lot to us that this event was chosen especially on March 8, International Women’s Day. I congratulate this special day of the working women around the world and I sincerely thank all our guests who chose to be with us on this meaningful night.” Okan Bayülgen accompanied Nejat Çuhadaroğlu’s conversation with his pleasant jokes.
Our route is to celebrate our 100th anniversary in the 130th year of our Republic and to become a centennial company by breaking new ground in our sector.
Kenan Aracı, General Manager of Çuhadaroğlu, said: “The late Architect Ahmet Çuhadaroğlu was an entrepreneur, a business person who believed that success would be achieved through differentiation and in this direction, predicted that those who think differently will win, especially in this age of rapid change, and humbly reminded us of this in our meetings. In our 70-year adventure, we have made significant contributions to our industry by realizing firsts and we continue to do so. As Çuhadaroğlu, in the 100th anniversary of the Republic in 2024, considering that the average company life span in our country has been 15 years in recent years, we are rightfully honored to enter our 70th year. Our route is to celebrate our 100th anniversary in the 130th year of our Republic and become a centennial company by breaking new ground in our sector.
