DACIA TURKEY RELEASES DACIAS ON CAR-FREE CITY DAY
On Car-Free City Day, Dacia supports awareness of alternative transportation methods and carbon emissions, allowing Dacia cars to take an annual leave.
Dacia Turkey, like last year, encourages active mobility, public transportation usage, and smart transportation solutions on Car-Free City Day to prevent unnecessary car usage.
Dr. Berk Çağdaş, the General Manager of MAİS A.Ş., stated, “Dacia, with its models that steer clear of excessive consumption, pricing policies, and eco-friendly philosophy, presents a smart option for consumers. Like last year, Dacia supports Car-Free City Day, promoting a vision of automobiles that avoids excessive consumption. On Car-Free City Day, we granted leave to all Dacia cars and hit the road with alternative transportation methods. Together, we aim for a more sustainable urban life step by step.”
On September 22, Dacia Turkey granted annual leave to its vehicles and launched a project directing employees toward alternative transportation methods. On this special day, employees were encouraged to use public transportation, bicycles, scooters, and other means of transportation to commute to work.
The theme of this year’s European Mobility Week, celebrated across Europe from September 16 to 22, is “Discover Your City,” with the slogan “Preserve Your Future.” The week, concluding with Car-Free City Day on September 22, emphasizes the importance of movement, reduced energy consumption, and clean and smart transportation methods for a sustainable world and a higher quality of life.
