“Harmonies and Differences in Artistic Expression: 13th Edition of the SINTESI Exhibition”
The 13th edition of the SINTESI exhibition, organized by the NeoArtGallery Cultural Association with the theme “Harmonies and Differences in Artistic Expression,” was inaugurated on May 25, 2024. The event, held in collaboration with Mega Art (Italy) and hosted by Evrim Art Gallery (Turkey), brought together art enthusiasts.
The SINTESI exhibition, themed “Harmonies and Differences in Artistic Expression,” showcases works by 59 international artists reflecting cultural diversity. The exhibition aims to offer viewers an emotional and conceptual journey, presenting artworks that highlight the relationship between diversity and unity. These pieces enrich the artistic dialogue, offering new perspectives and visions.
Ferdan Yusufi and Giorgio Bertozzi, founders of the Rome-based NeoArtGallery Cultural Association, shared their thoughts on the 13th edition of the SINTESI project.
“Sixteen years ago, a bold idea took shape in the Italian-Turkish cultural sphere. It led to an initiative that would transform our perception and experience of contemporary art. The collective exhibition SINTESI, created to promote cultural exchange through art, began its first edition at the CKM Cultural Center in Istanbul under the auspices of the Italian Cultural Institute. This exhibition has become a reference point in the artistic dialogue between Italy and Turkey, playing a fundamental role in supporting the diversity and richness of contemporary artistic expressions.
Since its establishment, SINTESI has embodied the spirit of collaboration and intercultural exchange. Designed as a showcase for Italian and international artists, the exhibition has succeeded in evolving over the years by changing exhibition venues between Italy and Turkey. Displayed not only in Rome and Istanbul but also in cities like Florence, Erzurum, and Bursa, SINTESI has brought forth an artistic journey capable of reaching and inspiring a broad audience.”
In its 13th edition this year, SINTESI explores the theme of “Harmonies and Differences in Artistic Expression,” offering a unique contribution to the reflection of unity and diversity in contemporary art through the works of 59 international artists. The exhibition encompasses painting, sculpture, photography, and performance art, inviting the audience on an emotional and conceptual journey.
SINTESI not only serves as an exhibition but also provides a platform for artists, critics, and art enthusiasts to come together for dialogue and exchange. By aiming to foster discussions on culture and artistic identity, the exhibition celebrates the universality of diversity and artistic language, creating a space for dialogue and mutual understanding.
