Güneş Özgeç’s new single “suçlu gibi” was released on November 22nd on all digital music platforms. The song’s lyrics, music, arrangement, and production are by Güneş Özgeç, while the mixing and mastering were done by Adham Farid, and the cover photo was taken by Irmak Altıner.

“suçlu gibi” tells the inner turmoil of a soul lost in the depths of shame and concealment emotions within the complex triangle of a betrayal story. This melancholic tale, echoing in the world of synth-pop, invites the listener on a journey with a series of upcoming songs that will continue within the same world. The continuation of the story will be shared as singles in 2025.

Güneş Özgeç initially arranged her first three songs (Kahve, Ikaria, and Sonbahar) in an acoustic format. With the release of “Bence Gerçek Hepsi” in July 2021, she began a new phase, taking a significant step by doing all the arrangements, instruments, and production by herself, embarking on a new path. She then released songs like “Düş,” “hiç?,” “Gezdir Beni,” “Öpüşünle Boynumdan,” and “toksik.” On March 15, 2024, she will release her first album Kertenkele Kraliçe’nin Zamansız Masalları.

In addition to her own songs, Güneş also works in arranging, film music composition, and production. She continues with her solo concerts and her talk-show concert series “Ayda Bir Güneş.”
