Strategic communications consultant Salim Kadıbeşegil, speaking at the Second Century Economics Congress, said, “There is no chance for a business model, a system to survive, where the planet is not among the winners.”
Strategic communication consultant Salim Kadıbeşegil made a presentation titled “Win-win-win” within the scope of the Second Century Economics Congress. Underlining that the vision of Turkey in its second century is important, Salim Kadıbeşegil said, “If we are going to make a journey of a century, we need another vision. These visions are the meeting of human rights and planetary rights in a common life culture, a Turkey where education, health, energy and culture can be world-class, qualified and free for everyone as a requirement of a citizenship right, a playmaker that contributes to international institutions that set standards in ethical and fair trade. a country that stands out with its identity. The obstacles we will face in fulfilling these visions are the climate crisis, the refugee problem and social explosions, poverty, income inequality, and the weakening of institutions.
“Village institutes should be reopened with today’s opportunities”
Kadıbeşegil listed the solution proposals for the new century and said, “There will be institutions that will want to overcome these problems in this century. Where will Turkey be in this? Will he be on the bench or on the field? Local governments need to work in the climate crisis. We need to solve the education issue. We need to improve the quality of pre-school education. We need to provide education for ecological literacy, humanity and democracy. We need to rebuild the reputation of teaching. Village institutes are reopening with today’s possibilities. We must produce culture and art in every field. The business world needs a complete overhaul. We need to develop the culture of participatory democracy. The basic citizenship income should be created,” he said.
Kadıbeşegil said, “Win, win, win. Let the producer win, the consumer win, but the planet wins. A business model, a system in which the planet is not among the winners, has no chance of surviving this century. There is no chance of being a passenger,” he said.
