Two Spaniards who have been living in Istanbul for five years, Adriana Cuadrado CEO and co-founder and Carmen Ascension Creative Director and co-founder, decided two years ago to create Mikedi – el gato de la suerte to fulfill the need to find a quality and beautiful gift.
Mikedi is a lucky cat with an evil eye bead, a typical Turkish symbol.
Mikedi currently only sells in Turkey, but they are in the process of expanding to other markets. They are also preparing to publish a book called “The Adventures of Mikedi and His Magic Eye in Istanbul”.
They presented their new collection at an event last night and about 40 people attended. They are planning to organize a presentation exclusively for influencers soon. They will share the details later.
Mikedi’s innovative products and Istanbul-inspired designs continue to attract great interest in both local and international markets.
