The eighth stop of the Turkey Culture Road Festival, organized in 16 cities this year by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism to enhance Turkey’s brand value, was Erzurum. The children’s activities at the festival are being followed with great interest by the young participants.

As part of the Erzurum Culture Road Festival, children are joyfully enjoying the “Children’s Village,” set up in Olympic Park. This vibrant area features a variety of colorful activities, workshops, stage performances, theaters, play zones, and many other events designed for young visitors.

So far at the festival, the following events have taken place with high participation from children: “Stories with Özgür Özgülgün,” and children’s theaters such as “Baby Shark,” “Kral Şakir,” “Şekeronya,” and “Rafadan Tayfa.” In the coming days, performances of “Masha and the Bear,” “Ege and Gaga,” “Maysa and Bulut,” and “Captain Pengu and Friends” will welcome young guests.

The festival also introduces children to traditional games with performances such as the Kavuklu and Pişekar Shadow Play, Hacivat Karagöz Shadow Theater, Meddah Performance, and İbiş String Puppet Show.

Additionally, children are engaging in activities like reading books at the Traveling Library Children’s Festival, participating in Science Workshops, observing with telescopes, and learning while having fun in the Kahoot Quiz Competition.

For nine days, the festival will feature stage performances of cartoon characters known from screens, carnival tents, thematic play areas, and activity tents offering arts education in music, drama, dance, ballet, and painting in the Children’s Village.
