ZERO is one of the beloved names of Turkish rap music, and he continues to impress his listeners with his new song “Gel”. The lyrics of the song are written by ZERO and carry a profound meaning.
Starting with lines such as “As if the world is empty, my hopes are burned / Come, just come, this world is temporary,” the song reflects the hardships of life and the turmoil within a person’s inner world. In his song, ZERO talks about the difficulties of survival in a world where another day ends, lives are lost, and time passes.
Continuing with lines such as “I couldn’t replace anyone / Are you happier now, I got closer to death / I swear I don’t understand why it happened this way / Everything I wanted failed, I’ve sunk to the bottom,” the song tells a story built upon failure and the pain of loss. In the song, ZERO expresses finding himself on the edge of a cliff, at the end of a gun barrel, and at the end of his rope.
