The group exhibition “CLIMATE-IST’24” featuring artists who have long represented our country in international climate, environment, and nature events and conferences, met with art enthusiasts on Saturday, July 6, 2024, at Evrim Art Gallery. The opening of the exhibition, which will run until July 25, was attended by notable figures from the art and media communities.

The artists participating in the exhibition and Evrim Art Gallery founder Betül Ketenci announced that they have collectively decided to donate a portion of the proceeds from the “CLIMATE-IST’24” exhibition to WWF-Turkey (World Wildlife Fund).
Participating Artists: Aslıhan Çiftgül, Betül Ketenci, Cemil Candaş, Fatma Kadir, Günsu Saraçoğlu, İlhan Sayın, Tuğba Küçükbahar

The video art presentation, created from the works of the artists, also received acclaim from visitors.
Günsu Saraçoğlu, İlhan Sayın, and Fatma Kadir have been participating in climate, environment, and nature conferences and events for many years. They stated that with the inclusion of Aslıhan Çiftgül, Cemil Candaş, Betül Ketenci, and Tuğba Küçükbahar in the exhibition project in Istanbul, they will continue to strengthen their efforts to draw public attention through art.

The artists shared their thoughts about the exhibition:
“We wanted to crown our journey in international arenas such as COP28 Climate Conference, Dubai, New York, CW NE24, Global Climate Change, Florida, London, Urban, SDG 13 Climate Weeks, and Stockholm +50 with our Istanbul exhibition. We believe that by sharing, we will grow and by uniting, we will strengthen. We are very happy to be able to contribute while raising awareness through art. Together with Evrim Art Gallery, we will try to support WWF-Turkey (World Wildlife Fund) by donating a portion of our exhibition’s proceeds. We invite all art enthusiasts to visit our exhibition.”

The “CLIMATE-IST’24” exhibition can be visited at Evrim Art Gallery until July 23, 2024.
