The Teacher Academy Foundation (ÖRAV) announced the winners of the education-themed photography competition organized in collaboration with the Istanbul Photography and Cinema Amateurs Association (IFSAK). The competition, where a total of 276 works were evaluated, will transform into an exhibition filled with visual narratives emphasizing the importance of education.
Highlights of the Competition
With the participation of over 80 educators, 276 works were evaluated in the education-themed photography category. Salih Kuş became the winner of the competition with his photograph titled “Hep Birlikte” (All Together). The second prize went to Fatih Yılmaz for his work titled “Okul Yolu” (School Way), and the third prize was awarded to Niyazi Gürgen for his photograph titled “Canlı Ders” (Live Lesson). Additionally, İbrahim Aysündü received an Honorable Mention award for his photograph “Engelsizsiniz” (You Are Unhindered).
Exhibition and Award Ceremony Details
The 4 award-winning works and the 20 selected works to be exhibited will be presented to the audience at the Notre Dame De Sion High School Exhibition Hall in Istanbul Harbiye from December 26 to 29, 2023, and January 2 to 5, 2024, between 09:00 and 17:00. The exhibition, on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the Republic and the 15th anniversary of ÖRAV, will meaningfully showcase how education reflects in every moment of life.
