The folk song “Gündoğdu Zeybeği (The Trays Were Overturned)”, inspired by a mourning story from the Manisa Soma region, was performed with a powerful interpretation by Efe Güngör. Produced by Musicom Production, the song tells the story of a hero known as the “Hairy Efe” in the Zeybek format, relating to the period of the War of Independence. The lyrics and music of the anonymous song were arranged by Mustafa Öztürk, while the strings were played by the New World Strings group.
