The ‘Women Co-Pilot Training’, organized by the Women’s Commission of the Turkish Automobile Sports Federation (TOSFED) with the support of FIAT, was completed last weekend at the TOSFED Körfez Race Circuit.
The project, which invited around 900 female marshals and participants from the ‘TOSFED Yıldızını Arıyor’ program and continued in the form of online training in three groups with 250 participants, progressed to practical training for 30 successful participants after an online exam.

Orhan Avcıoğlu, Murat Bostancı, Dağhan Ünlüdoğan, Kaan Özşenler, Onur Vatansever, Burçin Korkmaz, and Şeref Akgün were the instructors for the practical training, which took place at the TOSFED Körfez Race Circuit, where a special rally stage was created. In this stage, the participants first wrote down the route notes and then read them back while applying time control and special stage start/finish procedures. TOSFED Vice President Nisa Ersoy and TOSFED Women’s Commission President Bahar Sunman also participated in the training, which was an important step towards adding new co-pilots to the sport.
