The design-focused video content training program for students and young professionals between the ages of 16-29, organized by the Turkish Design Foundation, Iskele Studio, has been completed. Iskele.co, the design-focused video content platform established by the Turkish Design Foundation to facilitate access to existing resources in the design world and present them to designers in a curated selection, provided digital content training within the scope of the ‘Cultural Industries Support Program for Future Youth’ of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of the Republic of Turkey. The aim of the project was to support the digital content creation skills of students and young professionals in the field of design and to create original, creative and innovative content in the cultural industries.
Original, creative and innovative content was produced
The video archive of iskele.co, which was launched in June 2020, contains many domestic and foreign content in 8 different categories: graphic design, future and innovation, portraits, architecture, art, fashion, city and product. Within the scope of the iskele.studio project, the digital content produced by the young participants as digital content creators in architecture, design, and visual arts were published on iskele.co.
Video content production training was provided to 128 young people from 27 cities
Within the scope of the project, a 75-hour training and 30-hour mentoring support were provided to students and young professionals who wanted to create video content on digital platforms in three different terms. A total of 128 students and young professionals from 27 different cities in the 16-29 age group participated in the training. Participants developed their ideas into a final product by improving their skills in accordance with the training and mentoring support they received. These videos were published on iskele.co. The owners of the top 4 videos, Eylül Güngör, Kübra Yiğit, Mehmet Veli Arslan, and Sidar Alışık, were awarded a total of 23,000 TL.
